Midlands Student Health Service is seeking an RGN locum nursing role at the Student Health Centre on campus Athlone
- The Student Health Service provides nurse-led care to students
- Monday – Friday
- Hours are based on an if and when basis
- Based on semesters throughout the year - During the academic year
- service includes a nurse triage service and specialised sexual health, contraception and health promotion service for students.
- Specific experience in providing care to young persons
- Specific experience in providing nurse-led services
- Specific experience in providing specialised sexual health services
- Specific experience in health promotion, sports injuries and family planning
- Experience in using ‘Socrates’ Practice Management System
- Phlebotomy Skills & Experience
- Current Registration in First Aid Response/ Occupational First Aid
- Current Registration in Basic Life Support /AED use
