To provide Mental Health Nursing interventions to clients within the Open Access Service.
To provide Mental Health Crisis Interventions to clients within The Open Access Service.
To case manage clients with Mental Health Issues in order to support their recovery.
To ensure that the practical needs of the clients are met, in consultation with them and with the support of the staff team.
To ensure that assessments are carried out and individual care plans are devised and regularly reviewed by the staff in consultation and agreement with the clients of the Open Access Service.
To identify client needs and in collaboration with the Health & Harm Reduction Coordinator develop and implement therapeutic programmes in response to those needs.
To provide a high standard of care ensuring client satisfaction as it pertains to MQI and its Charter of Rights.
To ensure a safe and secure environment and maintain high standards of care for staff and clients alike.
Building supportive relationships across the services based in Open Access and MQI.
To develop links with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies in order to ensure access to services for the client group using the services.
To participate in service reviews and evaluations and to implement any changes arising from such work.
To work within the policies of MQI, both organisationally and service specific in order to ensure that a consistent service delivery and high standard of care is adhered to.
To deputise for the Health & Harm Reduction Coordinator when required.
To participate in and conduct work as required by The Clinical Governance Group and report to same.
