Experience
|
- Be registered in the general division of the live Register of Nurses maintained by Nursing & Midwifery Board Ireland.
- Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, (including a high standard of clinical and administrative capacity), for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
- Have certification of an approved Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers Course within the last two years (e.g. Irish Heart Foundation (IHF)).
- Have evidence of Initial National Anaphylaxis Education Programme for Health Care Professionals accessible on www.HSELanD.ie followed by a two hour classroom based skills workshop. Recertification is required every two years by completing the on-line National Anaphylaxis Education Programme for Health Care Professionals accessible on www.HSELanD.ie
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team in a busy Occupational Health department.
- Good IT skills/Administrative knowledge.
- Phlebotomy and Vaccination administration competency essential for this role
- Basic knowledge of health screening, surveillance and Pre Employment medicals desirable.
- Manage Occupational Health records in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
- Practice in line with the Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for Registered Nurses 2025, NMBI.
