CRGN required for an agency line of work covering the Westmeath area
A Community Intervention Team (CIT) is a specialist, health professional team which provides a rapid and integrated response to a patient with an acute episode of illness who requires enhanced services/acute intervention for a defined short period of time. This may be provided at home, in a residential setting or in the community as deemed appropriate, thereby avoiding acute hospital attendance or admission, or facilitating early discharge.
- RGNs required intervention team
- Agency line of work available for the right candidate(s)
- Carrying out clinical dressings etc covering clinics in the Westmeath area including Longford, Athlone, and Mullingar
- Clinics will be held in the 3 main Primary care centres
- Any additional training needed may be provided.
- Developing IV antibiotic administration in the community and opportunity to work in this area.
- Urinary related care
- Medication management
- Care of patients with respiratory illnesses
- Recent acute experience preferable
- 3- 4 days cover required
- Own car and full clean drivers licence required as travel essential in the role
